PGL 2025
Friday-Day 5
It might be the final day but there is more to experience before the journey home this afternoon!
Thursday-Day 4
Today the children have enjoyed aeroball climbing and sailing. Everyone, again, has participated fully and enjoyed all that they have been offered. Energy levels are still high, the adults are feeling tired but the children seem to keep going! Tomorrow Keegan will be celebrating his birthday so this evening everyone celebrated this a little early with a lovely chocolate cake. The children have enjoyed spending their final evening together at the disco.
Wednesday-Day 3
It has been another action packed day today with trapeze, archery, abseiling and fencing the activities that the children have taken part in today. Again everyone has given their all-including the staff! The weather has been beautiful again and as you can see from the photos a great deal of fun is being had by all.
Tuesday - Day 2
It is shaping up to be another busy day at PGL for our Y6 pupils. They all had a good night and slept well. The day started with the teachers needing to be rescued from a spider in their room-cue Ollie to save the day! During the morning the children took part in two different activities Survivor, which included how to start a fire and Giant Swing. The afternoon saw the whole group heading to Portland Bill for raft building. This evening Mrs Searle was very lucky to receive a video call from them and they are all smiling and very happy. Miss Ginn and Mrs Atef are very proud of them as everyone has tried everything on offer. The Giant Swing is definitely a favourite with them and the raft building was described as ‘wet and cold.’ They enjoyed a beautiful sunset just outside their rooms while we spoke which they were excited to show me. Tonight’s activity is a quiz and then they will be off to bed. I am sure they will sleep well tonight after today’s activities-although they were still full of energy when we spoke! I am so proud of each one of them and they are proving to be excellent ambassadors for our school.
Monday afternoon-Day 1
It has been a busy afternoon with the groups completing different activities-Jacob’s Ladder and Street Surfing. Everyone has tried everything and given the activities a good go.
Monday-Day 1
The children have safely arrived in Weymouth and lunch has been eaten. The weather is looking lovely and everyone is excited for the afternoon's activities.
